Taking to TikTok, one veterinary student, Alicia, listed to popular breeds she'd never own due to their long list of general health conditions that often affect them.

However, as cute yet dignified they may look, this popular breed also comes with a string of health-related issues that will cost the owner hundreds.
These, Walkin' Pets reported, include hip dysplasia, joint pain, eye issues, diabetes and even allergies that will make their skin go itchy.

"They truly believe they are guard dogs and will tell you what they want when they want it," she says.
For anyone that owns this breed of dog, McKenna predicts that you're likely a leader in the fashion industry, adding that your dog matches your "strong personality."
Next up is the Shetland Sheepdog, also known as the Sheltie, which she praises for being "amazing listeners" and "very obedient."
According to the vet tech, if you own this dog breed then chances are you're super empathetic and are the go-to person that friends call when they're in need of some advice.
