4-Week-Old Boxer Puppy's Tiny Howls Are Giving Baby Goat Vibes
Raising a puppy is such a joy. They really are little babies figuring out how to be grown up dogs. One person recently documented their adorable Boxer puppy letting out the sweetest little howls around the house. It was cute beyond words!
In response to one commenter who requested to see the dog's "puppy noises," Nicole Michelle shared some of the 4-week-old dog's most "ferocious" howls.
The dog mom, who has shared that the dog was born with a cleft palette, even rated her pup's best howls in the compilation video she shared online.

Michelle rated the dog's first "awoo" a pure ten out of ten. The second howl was slightly less impressive. Even though the pup was standing up right and really put her heart into it, it didn't cut the mustard to Michelle. She gave it a six out of ten. She claimed she couldn't take it "seriously."
The next howl she joked was the dog's "angry old man" howl and only brought in a measly three out of ten rating. The "give it all you got 'awoo'' fared better. It got an eight out of ten. Whew, Michelle is a tough judge!
The comments section couldn't get over how cute this was. "She reminds me of a baby goat. She is the cutest," wrote one person. "THAT WAS THEE CUTEST LITTLE HOWL I EVER HEARD," another commenter exclaimed. "That first one was the a-wooiest awoo, I've ever heard!!!" someone else joked.
Sadly, this puppy was born with a cleft palate. A condition that really impacted her first few weeks of life. A cleft palate is an opening between the mouth and the nose that happens when the tissue between the two cavities don't properly fuse together. This usually results in a birth defect in the lip or along the roof of the mouth.
There are certain dogs that are more susceptible to getting cleft palates than others. Purebred dogs (and cats) happen to have a higher percentage of cleft palate. Brachycephalic breeds (you know, all those dogs that have those short smush faces) have a higher chance of being born with a cleft palate. Boston Terriers, Pekingese, Bulldogs, Miniature Schnauzers, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, and Siamese cats are also at-risk too.
It's believe that cleft palates are genetic conditions, although nutritional deficiencies, viruses, and poisons that impact the mother dog while she's pregnant can also lead to cleft palates too.
In an earlier video on Michelle's page, she explained that at one point she was told not to keep the puppy because of her cleft palate. But she refused to give up on her.
And thank goodness she didn't. It seems like this dog is getting all the love she needs.

Boxer Dog With 'No Idea Of What Personal Space Is' Perches On Owner Like A Parrot — Watch!
A boxer dog named Luna recently surprised her owners with an unusual stance.
In a video shared by Amy McLoughlin of Washington Township, New Jersey, the canine perches on the shoulders of Amy's husband, Brian.
"Luna, you're one strange dog," Amy says in the clip. "She's going to try and sit on your head. I think she's bird-watching now."
"All I could do was laugh," Amy tells PEOPLE. "She is truly a clown."
The couple got Luna from an acquaintance in August 2022, when the dog was 8 weeks old. They had recently lost another boxer, 12-year-old Apollo, and thought it might be too soon for a new puppy, but when they saw Luna, they couldn't say no.

Amy says they also have two older boxers, Shadow and Zeus, who "adore" Luna.
Luna "first started to act like a parrot" after seeing Zeus on Brian's lap, Amy explains. "She was jealous of the attention Zeus was getting and decided to climb up him and get higher than Zeus, knocking him off and perching on his shoulder."

"Boxers seem to have no idea of what personal space is in general," she adds. "They are always following one of us around, even into the shower."
Amy says Luna often makes the couple laugh with her "unique personality."
"She teases our older boxers and steals their toys," she explains. "She pushes our guests out of their seats. She will give a little swat on the arm for a guest to play with her or pet her. When she wants you to get out of bed, she will simply sit on you. She is also the sweetest little thing. She cuddles under the covers in bed and takes naps snuggled into us or snuggled with our other dogs."
Amy calls Luna "a permanent puppy."

"She still will play with the toilet paper and take it and run," she says. "She is our alarm clock, swatting us to get up, and when that doesn't work, she will sit on us. She steals every toy from her older siblings, and they let her. She loves to run around the yard and be chased. She is also very vocal. She has a little whine she does when she wants something or to get your attention."

Amy credits Shadow and Zeus with raising Luna into a "goofy and lovable sweetheart," much like themselves.
"They love to run laps around the yard," she says of the trio of dogs. "Shadow is a senior, so she cannot keep up all the time, but they all love to nap together. We are smitten with the three of them."
