Rescue Puppy's First-Ever Bark Leaves His Foster Mom Speechless With Joy
If you've fallen in love with a dog, you know just how quickly it can happen. Within a matter of minutes, absolutely everything changes. You suddenly can't imagine your life without them in it, and everything they do puts a smile on your face. Speaking from experience, I can say it's simply magical!
I also have a feeling that Viviana from Washington would say the same thing. The wife, mom, and pet owner recently welcomed a new foster puppy into her home, and it didn't take long before she fell in love.
Unfortunately, the tiny pup had been neglected, starved, and abused by his previous owners. He's come a long way since his October 8 rescue, and on November 13, he finally found his voice. When little Goomba barked, Vivian was left speechless!
You go, little man! It's so heartwarming to see the way he can be himself around this dog foster mom, but nothing compares to the sweet connection they share. It looks like Vivian, the owner of @wolfpack8722, is moved to tears by Goomba's act of bravery!

Honestly, even the tiny Boxer/Pit Bull puppy seemed startled by his first-ever bark. It took him a bit longer to react, but then he jumped! He'll get used to using his voice as he practices, but for now he and his foster family are celebrating this milestone.
I agree 100% with commenter @toulousethechkn who said, "that would be an immediate foster fail for me." No kidding! Vivian is trying to convince her husband of the very same thing, so it's possible that this rescue puppy is already in his forever home! Either way, there's no doubt how much their love is helping him heal.

For its annual TV special "The National Dog Show Presented by Purina," NBC records the judging, examination and walk of all breeds and varieties competing in the annual event so that dog lovers and aficionados can get a close-up look at their breeds of interest.
The exclusive video generates heavy interest from enthusiasts around the world with a total of 199 breeds and varieties featured with backdrop audio of the breed description from PA announcer Wayne Ferguson, President of the Kennel Club of Philadelphia. Police: Three Dead Animals Found Inside City House Where Two Children Resided
SUNBURY — A Sunbury woman faces felony charges of endangering the welfare of children and cruelty to animals after police said they discovered a deceased dog in a crate and two headless cats inside a city home on Monday.
Natalie Alexander, 27, of Chestnut Street, was jailed on $25,000 cash bail following an appearance before Sunbury area District Judge Rachel Wiest-Benner.
Police say they were called to a home on Chestnut Street for a report of animal cruelty.
They were told by a witness that one of the children that had been inside the house said a "dog was dead."
When the reporting witness entered the home, the individual said they believed the dog — a bull boxer named "Biggie" — was dead inside a crate, police said.
The individual transported the dog to an animal hospital and was told the dog had been dead for a few days due to starvation, police wrote in arrest papers.
Arresting officer Dara Golden-Kieski said when officers arrived, the home was littered with garbage, filth, dirt, bugs, and rodent droppings that were in view of Sunbury Acting Police Chief Travis Bremigen, according to court documents.
The children, ages 10 and 3, were placed with other family members due to the conditions of the home, and Bremigen said as he continued through the house, he discovered two headless cats decomposing in an upstairs room, Golden-Kieski said in the criminal complaint.
Bremigen also said police found drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Alexander now faces felony counts of endangering the welfare of children and misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia.
