Atlanta, Ga.-based Northwest Exterminating, a Rollins company, has acquired Cullman, Ala.-based Target Pest Control. Terms were not disclosed.

Purchased in 1998 by Keith Chandler, Target has offices in Cullman, Birmingham and Jasper, Ala., and provides commercial and residential services. Chandler will continue to support Target as a consultant.

"While the decision to merge is never easy, the Northwest team is the perfect fit to honor the Target family – our customers and team – for years to come," he said in a news release. "Growing Target with my family has been a true blessing, and I'm excited to witness the growth opportunities ahead for the team and the additional support our customers will receive."

"Keith's commitment to creating a family-like culture that cares about the customer is inspiring. It's something that Northwest aims for daily. We could not be more excited to welcome the extraordinary Target team into the Northwest Family," Stanford Phillips, Rollins' division VP and Northwest Exterminating co-president, said in the news release. "We are grateful Keith and the team trusted Northwest as a partner in growth and for the opportunities ahead for all."
